Jeaneene M. (Conley) Hildebrandt

She was a retired teacher from North Elementary School in North Posey, IN after 26 years. After retirement, she joined her husband in being involved in local amateur boxing. Jeaneene sat on the first US Olympic committee for women’s boxing. She was involved in Evansville’s first Head Start program. Jeaneene enjoyed traveling, horses, swimming, and shopping.

Jeaneene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard “Dick” Hildebrandt on March 26, 2015; and son in law, Alan Conrad.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Fischer (Pat); daughter, Diana Conrad; grandchildren, Samantha Evans (Mike), Christopher Ivey, Randi Bogard (Josh); and Cory Conrad; as well as seven great grandchildren.

A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date with burial in Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.

The family would like to thank Holiday Health Care, Heritage Hospice, and the staff at Wellsprings unit for their care and compassion. A special thank you to Jeaneene’s granddaughter, Samantha, who was her caregiver for 13 years.
