Paul Jeffrey Werkmeister, beloved husband and father, passed away at home on January 12, 2025, at the age of 68. He was born on November 5, 1956, in Millington, TN to Richard Werkmeister Sr. and Joyce June (Sanderson) Werkmeister.
Jeff was a plumbing contractor, and in 1986, he began building a successful plumbing and boiler business. His expertise allowed him to build, repair, and create just about anything — a testament to his skill and determination. In March of 1972, Jeff and Dawn began their inseparable bond that lasted for 52 years. He was the best husband and father. Jeff had a variety of passions that filled his life with joy. He enjoyed spending time in his yard, caring for his pool, and traveling to beautiful beaches. His love for cars, especially jeeps, was matched by his appreciation for good music and concerts, where he often found great enjoyment.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Werkmeister; brother, Rick Werkmeister; and his father-in-law, Vaughn Myers.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Dawn (Myers) Werkmeister; daughter, Heather Goebel, and her children, Grant and Hudson Goebel; son, Kyle Werkmeister (Kristin) and their children, Alaina and Archer Werkmeister; father, Richard Werkmeister; brother, Stacey Werkmeister; and mother-in-law, Betty Jo Wargel.
