Jeffery was a laborer with the Local 561 for 17 years. He enjoyed fishing, sports, grilling out, hunting, and was a big music lover.
Jeffery is preceded in death by his brothers, Brock and Donald Mayes.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Linda; children, Chastidy Mayes, Jeffery Mayes (Ashley) and Charity Doane (Josh); stepchildren, Melody Gebhard and Steven Gebhard; grandchildren, Harmony Mayes and Arianna Pride; brother, David Mayes; sister, Sissy Jackson; brother, Steve Mayes and nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Service will b held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Bill Chase and Pastor Pat Jackson. Family and friends may visit on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
