Jeffrey Eugene Ungethiem

Jeffrey worked as a Network Engineer at OneMain. He enjoyed his 4th of July firework celebrations, grilling and smoking meat, hosting family gatherings, and game nights. He was a St. Louis Cardinals fan, liked golfing, and playing poker. He was a devoted husband, father, and recently became a dedicated cat dad. Jeffrey was known for helping others, and for his sarcastic sense of humor and quick wit.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Angella Ungethiem; his children Heather Ungethiem (John Bizal), Jacob Ungethiem, and Zachary Ungethiem (Abigail Weyer); parents Jeffrey and Maureen Ungethiem; in-laws Daniel and Rita Cassin; siblings Craig and Angelena Ungethiem, Andrew and Krystal Ungethiem, Nicholas and Jennifer Cassin (and their children Caiden, Reid, and Avery Cassin), and Maria Cassin; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother Eric Ungethiem; grandparents Gene and Nita Ungethiem, Jack and Irene Dwyer; uncle Mike Ungethiem; and aunt Laura Nussmeier.

Family and friends may gather from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 12, 2025 for a visitation at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, Evansville, IN.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Salem Church of Darmstadt, 14134 Darmstadt Road, Evansville, IN officiated by Pastor David Peterson. His final resting place will follow the service at the church cemetery.
