She was a member of the East Richland High School Class of 1986. She was extremely successful in school, graduating from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with a Bachelor's Degree in Art in 1990 and Master of Science Degree in 1992. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and received numerous awards and honors. She was a proud member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority.
Jennifer and Doug married in Olney, Illinois on September 24, 1994. They both enjoyed pro baseball games and attended them together and/or with their daughters every year to celebrate her birthday. She was part entrepreneur, working with her parents in the restaurant and trucking business, and later with Doug at Papa Mike's Bar & Grill from 2000-2014. After moving to Evansville, she worked in management before landing at Marian's Hallmark. She loved working with people and their families and sentimental events in their lives. Jennifer also enjoyed watching movies, visiting with her dear friends and cooking for her family. She especially loved all the animals in her life.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Doug; daughters, Lauren (Austin) Dillard, Fort Collins, CO and Allison Dillard of Evansville; mother-in-law, Ann Dillard, Carbondale, IL; brother-in-law, Brad (Kathy) Dillard, Carterville, IL; nieces, Morgan (Zachary) Dillard, Belleville, IL; Kristen (Matthew) Dillard, Nashville, TN; grandfather, Lee Horton and his wife Judy, Evansville; aunts/uncles, Rosemary (Barry) Williams, Henderson, KY; Patty (Kirk) Reising, Evansville; Will (Dawn) Seibert, Biloxi, MS; Starnette (Allan) Kidd, Pekin, IN; David Seibert, Newburgh, IN; Fritz (Kathy) Modesitt, Brazil, IN; Glenn (Karen) Modesitt, Evansville; Brian (Caye) Horton, Greenville, IN; Karen (Rick) Anderson, Smyrna, GA; and Sonya (Chris) Kirwer, Dawn (David) Horton-Krack and Alyson Modesitt, all of Evansville. She will be fondly remembered by her many cousins.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Alexander Memorial Park
