

Jen graduated from F.J. Reitz High School in 2006 and went on to earn her nursing degree from Henderson County Community College in 2019. Her passion for helping others led her to a fulfilling career as a Cardiovascular ICU nurse at Ascension. Jen was not only an exceptional nurse but also a source of comfort and hope to her patients and colleagues. She made a profound difference in countless lives, and her compassion and skill will always be remembered.
Jen shared a beautiful life with her fiancé, Dalton Wilson. Together, they found joy in tailgating and cheering on their beloved Notre Dame football team. They loved the outdoors and embarked on countless adventures, creating cherished memories along the way. Jen’s love for music was boundless, and she was often found at concerts, soaking in every melody. She had an incredible ability to make friends and keep them close. Jen’s circle of friends was vast, and each of them was touched by her gentle, caring nature and zest for life. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Skinner; her uncle, Greg Skinner; and both sets of grandparents.
Jennifer is survived by her devoted mother, Karen Skinner; her brother, Jeremy Skinner; her loving fiancé, Dalton Wilson; aunts, Kris Pitlick (Steve), Kami Patterson (Mike), Elaine McMinn (Tommy); uncles, Kent Skinner (Mary Pat), Tim Skinner (Michelle); cousins, Stephanie, Jessica, Jared, Ben, Katie, Megan, Catlin, Tracy, Austin, Tristan and Brayden; her cat, Luna and countless friends who considered her family.
Jen's legacy is one of love, kindness, and generosity. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois St., Evansville, IN officiated by Pastor Joe Mitchell.
Friends may visit on Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and on Monday from 10:00 am until service time at the chapel.
