She was known by the title “School Mom” at Mill Road Christian School and Faith Heritage Christian School. Jewell also worked as a crossing guard. She loved being a wife, mother to her three sons and “Granny” and “Grandma” to her seven grandchildren.
Jewell is survived by her husband of 56 years, Homer W. Pressley; sons, Roger Pressley (Tammy), Eddie Pressley (Maria) and David Pressley (Lisa) and grandchildren, Eric and Jeremy Pressley, Tyler, Trevor, Tanner, Tucker and Tamber Pressley.
A Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 24, 2018 at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Pastor Jimmy Briscoe and Pastor Alec Hensley, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the funeral home.
