

Jo Ann (Rogers) Wolf, 73, of Evansville, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015, at Deaconess Hospital after a short illness. She was born July 4, 1942, in Hot Springs, AR to the late Edwin Kennedy and Florentine (Will) Rogers.
She attended Saint Benedict's School and graduated from Memorial High School in 1960. She married her high school sweetheart, Mike, in 1968 at Saint Benedict Cathedral, where she was a member.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Holli Ann; and sister, Jane Brown.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, James Michael “Mike” Wolf; daughters, Shae Marie Eickhoff (Dale) of Jefferson City, MO, and Jane Rae Diehl (Joe) of Newburgh; sons, Michael C. Wolf of Evansville and Eric C. Wolf of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Natalie and Alexander Eickhoff and Victoria and Caroline Diehl; sister, Sheila Petkovich (Tom-deceased), of St. Louis, MO; and Edwin Kennedy Rogers (Terry) of Destin, FL.
Jo was the eldest of four children and the matriarch of the Rogers/Wolf clan; hosting family gatherings spanning eight states. Her home served as a hospice to her mother, sister, aunt, and family friend. She was an avid gardener, cat lover, and was blessed with many talents. She was a very giving, spiritual woman, who loved our Lord and her family more than life. Following the death of her sister, Jane, and brother-in-law, Jack Brown, Jo was like a mother to their children, Mike, David, Daniel, and especially, Laura Brown.
A prayer service and meal were held at Saint Benedict Cathedral on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at 10.
