Joan Sue Ernspiger

Joan graduated from Central High School in 1949.

She was a graduate of Deaconess School of Nursing. Joan worked in the offices of Dr. E. K. Denzer and Drs. Coleman and Austin.

She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Evansville.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ellen Ernspiger of Evansville and one sister, Patty Pavey of Anderson, Indiana.

She is survived by her sisters, Bettye Kimmel and Mary Gulledge (Frank) all of Evansville; brother, Dick Ernspiger (Eole) of Dallas, TX; nieces, Beth Kinney (Wayne) of Evansville, Becky Johnson (Jim) of Evansville and Mary Pavey (Tim) of Anderson, IN, Lynn Krupa (Mike) of Houston, TX and Karen Tinco of Dallas, TX; nephews, Rick Pavey of Columbus, OH and Mark Pavey (Brenda) of Acworth, GA; nine great nieces and nephews; and four great great nieces and nephews; lifetime special friends, Marge Vogel, Ann Geisz, and neighbors, Amy and Robert Dossett all of Evansville.

Services will be 5:00 PM Sunday, November 3, 2013, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Doug Heiman, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
