JoAnn Anderson

JoAnn “Red” Anderson, 72, passed away, Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at Deaconess Hospice in Evansville, IN. She was born, January 27, 1940 in Evansville. She was a member of Cathedral of Praise Church and loved playing bingo, painting, reading and doing crafts. She was preceded in death by parents, Frank & Marie Benedict; brother, Gerald Benedict; infant daughter, Vicki Lynn Anderson; sister-in-law, Roberta Benedict; and son-in-law, John Fugate. JoAnn is survived by her husband of 53 years, Homer, of Evansville; daughter, Robin Zorn (Marvin), Springfield, IL; son, Jeff Anderson, (Tammy), Evansville; daughter, Penny Fugate, Springfield, IL.; brothers, Charles Benedict (Donna), Evansville; Michael Benedict (Clara), Evansville; grandsons, Jeffrey Martin (Jacqueline), John Fugate, II, Matthew Fugate, Brian Zorn, Chance Anderson, Jordan Payne, Cohner Payne; granddaughters, Kristina (Adam) Evers, Kelly Zorn; 3 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Bret Myers with burial in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit from 9:00AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
