John Wayne Harrington

Jay was a certified mechanic and a drag racer. He attended the First Baptist Church in New Harmony, IN. Debi and Jay were avid campers.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Debra Jean Harrington; daughter, Charlotte Tompkins (Devin), son, Kenneth Harrington; daughter, Heather Willits (Brad). Six grandchildren, Chelsea, Haley, Christopher, Zachary, Teague and Brock; seven great grandchildren; brother, Frank Harrington (Janis); sister, April Doran; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Also two of the joys in his life were his Whippets, Posey and Nova.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Alexander Memorial Park (Chapel of Remembrance) officiated by Pastor Larry Conyers. Friends may visit 9:30 a.m. until service time at the cemetery chapel.
