John Frederick Powell, Jr., 60, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020, at his home. He was born on November 11, 1960, in Evansville, Indiana.

John loved spending time with family and friends. When not relaxing with a smile on his face, he spent a long career with Keller Crescent until their closure. Most recently, he finished his career with DSM engineering.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Marilyn Powell; Conrad and Mary Schaad; father-in-law, Gary Daniels; brother-in-law, Shawn Daniels; and brother, Mike Schaad.

John is survived by his wife, Kelli Powell; mother-in-law, Jean Daniels; brother, Tom (Shelly) Powell; sister, Jane Laib; brother, Keith (Susan) Schaad; sister-in-law, Louise Schaad; several nieces and nephews; children, Amanda (Jake) Wojkovich, Derrick (Kelli) Powell, Brandon Bisch, and Haley (Alex) Zimmerman; grandchildren, Luke and Addie Wojkovich; baby Zimmerman.

Due to the current pandemic, a private funeral service will be held, with burial at Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit on Friday, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Alexander East Chapel. The funeral service will be livestreamed on Saturday at 10:50 a.m. at
