He was a master printer/lithographer and traveled throughout the U.S. as well as overseas during his employment. John was a gentle giant, he was very giving and had a heart of gold.
He enjoyed riding and working on his many motorcycles. John was a very creative woodworker, antique collector, and adventurer. John was a man of exceptional talent in many areas and diverse in his interests. He will be missed by many.
John was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by sisters, Linda Shoemaker Bark (Dr. Joseph), Patricia A. Shoemaker Snyder; brother, Steven L. Shoemaker (Cindy); as well as many nieces and nephews.
Private entombment will be held with family only in attendance.
