

He was a graduate of Rex Mundi High School and Nashville Auto Diesel College and had been a tractor trailer mechanic for over 40 years. Joe was an avid racing fan and enjoyed cooking, fishing, and his Great Pyrenees dogs. His joy was his son and daughter and five grandkids.
Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Parks. He is survived by his wife of over 37 years, Pat, Evansville, IN; son, Adam (Dawn), Bloomington, IN; daughter, Gretchen (Ryan Fisher), Evansville, IN; brothers, Charles, Tom (Elaine); and sister, Phyllis Spaetti, all of Evansville; grandchildren, Cynthia, Samuel, Mary Ella, Olivia, and Jedidiah Spaetti all of Bloomington, IN; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Gene Backes, with burial at St. Rupert Cemetery in Red Brush, IN. Friends may visit, Friday, March 8, from 4PM-8PM at the funeral home.
