

Jonathan "Jon" D. Boring, 50, of Evansville passed away peacefully in his own home due to a sudden illness on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. He was born May 30, 1975 in Evansville to Allen and Mary (Webster) Boring.
Jon was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Boring; his brother, Allen Boring, Jr; and grandparents, Bill and Geneva Boring and Carol Webster.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jen (Fuller) Boring; step-son, Leith Fuller; father, Allen Boring, Sr.; brother, Ben Boring (Christie); nieces, Jade and Trinidy Boring, Abby Enright, Amber Zagrodzki; nephews, Joshua, Jordan and Noah Enright and Michael Boring; several cousins, aunts and uncles; and his favorite dog, Ralphie.
He was a graduate of North High School. Jon spent many years self-employed as owner of River City Roadside Service and in security for local businesses. His most recent position was the assistant manager at Plaza Tire Service. He enjoyed spending time with his family, nieces, nephews, friends, as well as gaming.
Jon especially cherished time with his wife, his dog and he loved his trucks. He was gone too soon and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Alexander Funeral Home West, 2100 W. Illinois Street in Evansville and officiated by Pastor Jeremy Seger.
Friends and family may visit from 2:30 until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
