Joe graduated from Reitz Memorial High School in 1979. He then graduated from the University of Evansville where he worked at WUEV radio station. Joe retired from the Postal Service after 30 years of service, and was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Joe was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Pittsburgh Pirate fan. He loved spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and walking his dog, Jolly Roger.
He is preceded in death by his father; and sister, Carol Raley.
Joe is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kathy (White); children, Bradley and Caroline; brothers, Tom (Sandy), and Mike; sisters, Kathy Knies (Doug), Charleen Miguet, and Krista Hunt (Tony); mother and father-in-law, Mary Sue White and Dion White; brother-in-law, Jason White; and many nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to Doug and Kathy Knies, Charleen Miguet, and Mary Sue White who sat with him daily. Thank you to Good Shepherd and Holy Redeemer Catholic School for their continued support. Our appreciation goes to the employees of the United States Postal Service and Legacy Dance Company for the encouragement and lifelong friendships. Another special thanks to Ian Pate and friends who organized a once-in-a-lifetime trip to attend a Pittsburgh Steelers game, VNA Hospice, and his nurse Jamie.
