Joyce Ann Gerteisen

Joyce worked at Berry Plastics for over forty as a Production Operator. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, attending their academic and athletic events as well as spending time with nieces and nephews. Joyce loved to walk and spending time with family and friends. She was also known for her generosity and desire to help others. This was manifested in so many ways and those touched by Joyce’s kindness know of her compassionate heart.

She was preceded in death by her brother Harry Rolley; sister, Jane Pace; and granddaughter, Alexis Gerteisen.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Keith and Kevin Gerteisen; and grandchildren, Reed, Kurt, Ryan and Erik Gerteisen. Also surviving are siblings, Loretta Baughn, Toy Widmer, Linda Guyot and Ronald Rolley.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday from 2 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
