She retired from PPG in Evansville after 29 years of service. Joyce enjoyed Trivia Nights at the Eagles in Evansville and meeting up with Pat, Darlene, Heath, and John for Hacienda Tuesdays. She also enjoyed reading. Joyce's favorite vacation was to Maine with her girlfriends from work; Becky and Linda. Her grandchildren were her world.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; best friend and Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Ron.
She is survived by her children, Robert M. Basham, Jr. and Lisa Faye Godwin (Corey); grandchildren, Mikayla Feldpausch (Lane Parks), Amber Feldpausch (Mason Smith), CJ Godwin, Noah Basham, and Grace Basham; great grandchildren, Blakely Feldpausch and Waylon Smith; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Per Joyce's wishes, no public services will be held.
