Joyce Elaine Kohlmeyer

Joyce was a lifelong member of Forest Hills Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Reitz High School. Joyce was a very talented tailor and seamstress. She enjoyed using her talents in sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting to bring joy to others. She was a very proud grandmother. Joyce retired from Mead Johnson, after 35 years of employment.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Kohlmeyer; daughter, Kristy Kohlmeyer; and brothers, Austin, Herb and Dennis Happel.

Joyce is survived by her son, Bradford Kohlmeyer (Linda); grandchildren, Jordyn Duncan (Rory), Chase Kohlmeyer, Madison Kohlmeyer; sisters-in-law, Linda Happel and Judy Happel; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Tyrone Edwards, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
