She graduated from Columbia Elementary and Central High School.
Juanita loved gardening, working in the yard, cooking, baking, and dancing. She taught herself to play the organ. Juanita was a jokester and loved life.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Irl Raymond Hicks.
Juanita is survived by her daughter, Vicky Lynn Abbott of Beaufort, SC; and her dog, Midnight.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. Tim Garrett with entombment at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery at 10:00 AM on Monday. Friends may visit Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Alexander North Chapel.
