Karen Sue Kramer, 82, of Evansville, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at home surrounded by her children. She was born in Ownesboro, KY to the late Herbert Raymond and Lida Marian (Clark) Smith.
Karen worked her entire 52 year career as a Registered Nurse. She was a devoted Christian that lived her life for the Lord, willing to do for all in need. Karen was a loving, caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family along with her friends from church and BSF.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Laura Taylor; and granddaughter, Emily.
Karen is survived by her children, Donna Rhodes (Tracie), James Taylor (Mary), Mark “Drew” Kramer (Jamie), and Debra Kramer; grandchildren, Michael, Brandon, Kyle, Austin, Taylor, Blake, Emma, Elijah, Devion, and Sydney; eight great grandchildren; brother, Ken Smith (Dottie); nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Heritage Hospice and their staff for the love and care they provided. Special thanks to nurse Karla and Pastor Greg Davis.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, 12:30 p.m., January 26th, 2021 at McCutchanville UMC.
