Karen Sue Phelps, 62, of Evansville, IN passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Deaconess Midtown hospital. She was born on September 7, 1956.

She was a member of Lady of the Owls. Karen enjoyed cooking, gardening, her cats and her family.

Karen is survived by her husband, Garrett; son, Robert Haar; daughters, Destiny Elizabeth Phelps and Bonnie Oiler; son, Zach Oiler; grandchildren, Cheyenne Haar, Alexander Haar, Ryan Woodham, Robert Woodham, Raelynn Woodham and Tyler Woodham; father, Albert Daub Sr.; sisters, Sandy Doan (Steve) and Candy Avina (John); brothers, Albert Daub Jr. and Bobbie Pace Jr.; brother-in-laws, David Phelps, Tom Phelps, and George Phelps Jr.; mother-in-law, Patty Phelps.

A celebration of life service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2019 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Pastor Mark Schauss. Friends may visit 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and Friday 9:00 a.m. until service time.
