He is survived by parents, Kenneth Plassmeyer and Patricia Plassmeyer; brothers, John Plassmeyer and Tony Head; son, Noah Plassmeyer; nephew, Nick Plassmeyer; and niece, Megan Messick (Plassmeyer).
Ken was born and die in Evansville, IN. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served 1995 to 1999 in wars in Kosovo and Bosnia. He loved to travel. Some of his favorite sports were Germany and San Antonio Texas.
Growing up, Ken often enjoyed playing basketball, especially on his high school team at Wood Memorial High School in Oakland City Indiana and eventually coached his son’s basketball team in the third grade. Ken was a west sider most of his life aside from a portion of his childhood in Gibson County and his time in the service. He was often a regular at Buds on Franklin Street. Ken studied at USI as well as Indiana Business College and earned an associate of applied science degree in business after leaving the military through honorable discharge.
