

He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was a dedicated member of Vietnam Veterans of America. After his military service, Kevin worked as a truck driver, both locally and across the country. He had a passion for woodworking, hunting, fishing, and he also enjoyed building model cars. Above all, Kevin cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert “Bud” Marret.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sherry (Shelton) Marret; sons, Kevin Marret, Jr. and Chris Marret; daughters, Heather Marret and Erica (Marret) Crow; grandchildren, Anthony, Vada, Bryan, Alyssa, Cody, Faith, Michael, Ethan, Phillip, Gabe, and Kaysen; great-grandson, Jaxon Marret; brothers, Gary Marret and Steve Marret; siblings; and nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Ave. Evansville, IN 47714 with Pastor Jeff Stanton officiating . Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery, with military honors to be conducted.
