Lanie H. Morehead

Lanie Harriette (Dubord) Morehead, age 78, of Evansville, IN, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 10, 2023. She was born on February 4th, 1945 in Evansville, Indiana where she grew up with her sister Leta and brother George. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1963. Lanie worked for Flair Plastics for 20 years. She was a devout Christian who loved the Lord. She enjoyed studying her bible with Shepherd’s Chapel. She was a loving Mom and Nana that enjoyed time with her family and grandchildren. Lanie is survived by her children, Anthony Rango, Darrin Rango, Ronald Jason Rango, and Lindsay Roberts; grandchildren Emily Rango, Hunter Hadfield, Brennan Roberts, Elena Roberts and Alexis Webb, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Laurence and Margie Dubord. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Alexander East Chapel officiated by Rev. Paul Gates. Friends and family may visit from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023 and from Noon until service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered at www.AlexanderEastChapel.com.
