

He retired from Tri County Equipment, and had also worked at RVB Group, Inc., Sterling Boiler, Central Industries, and Packaging Corporation of America. Larry also taught Industrial Arts at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis and Hammond Morton High School in Hammond. He was an honorary member of Sigma Pi Tau at Indiana State University.
Larry had many hobbies and interests including fishing, hunting, and boating. He was a Master Gardener and loved woodworking. He could build just about anything including his own woodworking shop as well as his brother’s lake house. Larry also loved playing basketball, volleyball, and softball with his brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and granddaughter, Alexa Barnes.
Larry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara Eades; daughter, Tracy Barnes (Eric); granddaughter, Emma Barnes; and brothers, Terry A. Eades (Rita) and Randy Eades.
Friends and family may visit from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Rd., Evansville, IN.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Browning, Dr. Thomas Waits, the staffs at Ascension St. Vincent Oncology, and St. Vincent Infusion Center, as well as Dr. Reena Jayani at Vanderbilt Cancer Center.
