He is proceeded in death by his parents, Walter E Pointer and Grace M Pointer; sisters, Brenda, Patricia, and Shirley Pointer.
He is survived by his son, Larry II (Karen) Pointer; grandkids, Nathanial and Elizabeth; nieces, Labreska (Mike) Dillingham and Kim (Mike) Harris; great nieces, Cherry and Gracie; and nephews, Shane, Jared, Luke and Brad.
Larry was so proud to have served his country in both the Army and Navy. Larry had a great sense of humor, he also like collecting anything that had to do with military and anything that was unusual.
A military honors service will be held graveside at 11:45 am on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Park Lawn Cemetery.
