Laura Lucille (Paker) (Browning) Haines, 60, of Evansville, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012, at Riverwalk Communities. She was born July 17, 1951, in Henderson, KY, to the late Lawrence J. and Bonnie J. (Wortman) Paker.
She was a 1969 graduate of Holy Names High School and attended Henderson County Community College. She was a Registered Nurse and had worked for Firstone, Red Banks and Need-A-Nurse. She was a member of Bethany Christian Church and Order of the Amaranth. She enjoyed cross-stitching, crocheting, flowers and plants. Her favorite hobby was reading.
Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Haines; and son, Andrew Lawrence Paker-Browning.
She is survived by her daughter, Rev. Bonnie Browning of Canton, PA; brother, Lawrence (Crystal) Paker; and aunt, Clare (Jim) Holsey, both of Evansville.
Memorial services will be 1:00 PM Monday, April 9, 2012, at Bethany Christian Church, 601 East Mill Road, Evansville, officiated by Dr. Daniel S. Lovell. Friends may visit Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at the church.
