Dear Lee and Jayne,
My parents Joe and Sona were good friends of  your Mom and Dads for so many years. There were no other friends as I look back on their life that I can honestly say I remember with such fond memories. They were such giving people. My dad will still speak of those days in Evansville!

Dear Jayne and Lee,
     I am so sorry to hear about Laverne. I have so many wonderful memories of Dewey and Laverne when we would go on vacations together. You had wonderful parents and I  think of them often. Laverne was such an elegant lady. Even though my mom doesn't  know what is going on, she loved Laverne and always said "she's my only friend left". My Dear Friend Lee,
My heart is breaking for you. We've been down this road more times than I like to think about.Although we know she is at peace that still won't stop the pain you will feel when you pick up the phone to call and it hits you, I still do it! What comes to mind when I think about your mom? Elegant,petite, the daily crosswordpuzzle,golf,bowling,Weinbach Cafeteria, Robby Robertson,her garden bathtub(I always thought that was so cool)cats sleeping in bags on her bed, the small accident she was in with your dad in the Petrolium Club parking garage,the terrarium on her kitchen table(oops),how proud she was of her family, and most of all how much she loved your dad.We had some good times and lots of laughs with your mom and I will cherish those memories forever.On a personal note to LaVerne, tell God I said hi.

Jayne and Lee...I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's passing.  She was always such a beautiful dignified lady and I always enjoyed seeing her.  Take comfort knowing she's in God's arms now.  My sympathies to you both.
