Lawrence Chester Schmidt

Lawrence was employed at Ball Plastics for many years. He was a member of Parke Memorial Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Kennel Club and 1528 Club.

Lawrence was preceded in death by wife, Wilhelmina Schmidt in 1988.

He is survived by his daughter, Darla Berry (Jim) of Naples, FL; sons, Stephen Schmidt (Judith), Neil Schmidt (Mildred), and Alan Schmidt (Mary); grandchildren, Jason, David, Brian (fiancée, Maura), Scott (Erin), and Lt. Rev. George (Rev. Larissa Romero) Schmidt; great grandchildren, Eli, Mason, and Orion Schmidt. Great grandson, Eli, shares the same birthday as Lawrence. When Lawrence was 100, Eli was one year old.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 30, 2017, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Danny Barr, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
