

Lenora was born on September 13, 1930, in Evansville. She is the daughter of the late John and Mary (Seibert) Koch. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Roy Mandel, son Chris Mandel, sisters Dolores Goebel and Regina Forler, brothers Alfred and Elmer Koch, and parents.
Lenora was a member of All Saints Parish in Evansville. Lenora worked in retail and retired from Target. Lenora was a kind neighbor and friend, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She crocheted over 70 afghans, that were donated to the Evansville Chemo Buddies for their patients. She will be sadly missed.
Lenora is survived by son Larry (Paula) of Arizona; daughter Brenda (Danny) Betz of Evansville; very special "sister" friends, Donna March and Pam Schaefer and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026 at All Saints Parish- St. Anthony Church Campus, officiated by Fr. Steven Lintzenich, with entombment to follow at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Alexander Funeral Home – North Chapel and from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Monday at the church.
