Lile Thomas Miller

Lile was proud to serve in the U.S. Air Force. He retired as an electrician from Welborn Hospital. He was very active in the Tri-State Ski Club and Tri-State Golf Group for many years. Lile’s hobbies included fishing, camping, golfing, and traveling. He treasured his time with friends in Panama City Beach during winters. Lile also enjoyed spending time with dear friends as part of their Taco Tuesday tradition.

Lile was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 23 years, Eloise (Goffinet) Miller; and sister-in-law, Judi Miller.

He is survived by his children, Mark Miller and Rhonda Miller (Ian Orpwood); significant other, Elaine “Tudy” Barnett; brothers, Richard “Dick” Miller (Millie Sue) and Urey Miller; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois St. Evansville, IN, officiated by Father Lowell Will. The service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA

Entombment with military honors to follow in Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
