Lillian attended Lincoln High School. She was a member of Sts. Mary and John Parish. She was a member of the Legion of Mary Virgin Most Powerful for many years. She attended church until her health allowed her not to attend. Lillian loved arts and crafts, cross word puzzles and painting. She attended River Walk Day Program where she enjoyed doing activities with staff and the many friends she met over the years.
She was a very sweet, caring, and loving woman and she will be missed dearly by family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Lillian is preceded in death by siblings, Harold Jackson, Robert Jackson, Margaret Jackson, John Jackson and Cecilia Jackson.
Lillian is survived by siblings, Alonzo Jackson, Jr., Rachel Jackson, Martha Shelby, Ronald Jackson, Ellen Williams (Earl), Marybelle Pulley and Theresa Bailey; sister-in-laws, Clara Jackson and Betty Jackson; a host of nieces and nephews: great nieces and nephews; great great nieces and nephews; and cousins.
The family of Lilian Jackson would like to acknowledge the nurses and patient care techs and staff at Brentwood Nursing Home, River Walk Day Program and Heart to Heart Hospice Care for all the loving care and kindness that was shown towards Lillian.
Due to the pandemic, Funeral Services will be private, but will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA beginning at 11:45 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Alexander East Chapel on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Face masks will be required.
