Linda (Chandley) Allen, 51, of Elberfeld, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway. She was born October 10, 1971, in Evansville, Indiana.
Linda graduated from North High School. She formerly worked at Walmart. She was a member of Blue Grass United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially on vacations in the Smoky Mountains and Myrtle Beach. Linda loved cross-stitching, crafts, watching football and her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lincoln and Mildred Chandley and Viola McFarland.
Linda is survived by her husband 20 years, Bryan Allen; parents, Gene and Pauline Chandley; son, Timothy Stone II (Whitney); daughter, Amanda Pickett; son, Matthew Evans; step-daughter, Shanda Allen; six grandchildren, Kylie, Elliot , Christian, Jalaysia, Demarcus and Zakaria; brother, Jerry Truitt; sister, DeVade Dortch; brother, Gary Chandley (Rosemary); nieces and nephews, Christine (Louis), Marissa, Brianna and Jayden.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Alexander North Chapel; officiated by Pastor Doug Heiman, with burial in Blue Grass Church Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
