Linda Lou Mackey, 78, of Newburgh, IN passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born on July 20, 1947, in Taylorville, IL to the late Russell and Victoria Boyce McCafferty.
Linda loved spending time with her family and her dogs. She was a member of Vann Avenue Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Mackey; son, Joe Latham; sisters, Shirley, Helen, Eva, Vickie, and Russella; and brothers, Sam and William.
Linda is survived by her son, Ron Latham; daughter, Dawn Davis (Mike); son, Sam Latham; grandchildren, Bobby Pfingston (Keri), Ashlee and Whitlee Latham, Alexandra Latham, and Kylie and Haylee Davis; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brother, James; sisters, Cheryl and Sandy; and her two dogs, Little Bit and Dodger.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
