Linda P. Phillips, 69, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016, at Deaconess Hospital. She was born April 3, 1947, in Kingwood, WV, to the late Howard Phillips and Carrie (Buckingham) Phillips Pratt.
She was very dedicated to her family and was loved by many people. Linda loved working with her hands, reading, and hunting for drift wood. She was a very hard worker and loved her dogs, Macy and DJ.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Floyd Pratt; brothers, David and Marvin; and sisters, Deloris, Mattie, and Maryann.
She is survived by her wife, Martha Whitehouse; children, Homer Whitehouse II, Jennifer Banks, and Chasity Simmons; grandchildren, Trinity Simmons, Daveiontae Hughes, Jeremiah Jenkins, and Tami and Jacob Alverson; and sisters, Nina Smouse and Cheryl Knight.
There will be a time of memory sharing at 7:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Alexander East Chapel. Friends may visit Saturday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
