Linda "Mamma" Lou Scott

Linda’s hobbies included traveling on her motorcycle with Bill, shopping, Betty Boop and watching her church shows. She enjoyed going to the casino when it went out on the river and spending time with her cats. Linda was a loving mom and grandma. She loved the Lord.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Bill “Caveman” Scott; granddaughter, Rebecca Jane Jacobs; son, Gregory Scott; parents, Milton and Edna Jackson; and her beloved cat, Tiger.

She is survived by her daughter, Rachell Kell (Ronald); grandson, Nathan Jacobs; granddaughters, Katie Jacobs (Arterus Young) and Summer Kell; grandsons, Joshua and Jonathan Scott; great-grandchildren, Michael Jacobs, Dominic Jacobs, Romeo Jacobs, Sapphira Jacobs, Zachariah Young, A’Ryah Young, Ja’Bryah Young, and many more great-grandchildren.

Linda’s funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, in Evansville officiated by Pastor Gene Backes. Burial will follow in Alexander Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and continued on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Linda L. Scott Memorial Fund to help her family with expenses.
