Lloyd Edward Meyer

Lloyd E. Meyer, 88, of Evansville, passed away April 18, 2018. He was born in Evansville to the late Edward and Dollie (Zint) Meyer. Lloyd graduated from Bosse/Mechanic Arts High School in 1949. He served in the Army from 1951 – 1953. Lloyd was an active member of Bethany Christian Church. He loved to square dance and enjoyed going to Texas for the winter months to square dance and be with friends. Lloyd retired from Ball Plastics (Kent Plastics) as a draftsman. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marilou; son, Craig Meyer; daughter, Kathy (Wayne) Wilkey; grandchildren, Helen Wilkey, Blake Wilkey, Grace Wilkey, Brian Meyer, Lorelei Rupert, Cassandra Meyer, Alissa Meyer, Cameran Meyer; 9 great grandchildren; and cousins. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM on April 23, 2018, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 2:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Christian Church.
