She attended United General Baptist and Abundant Faith Churches in Evansville, and liked attending their church activities. She enjoyed spending time with family, quilting, going to consignment shops and yard sales.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bass; children, Charles R. Bass and Cletus E. Bass; grandchildren, Ryan C. Doty, Steven R. White and Debbie Waters; great-grandchildren, Kimmie Waters and Matthew Waters, and brothers, Halburn Cundiff and Lemphia Cundiff.
She is survived by children, Donald E. Bass of Manteno, IL, Carolyn White of Steger, IL, Vera White of Boonville, IN and Phyllis Vailes (Bill) of Evansville, and step-children, Roxanne Grigsby (Brad) and Mark Hatfield of Evansville; 23 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and, 3 great-great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev. David Bayer, with burial in Log Creek Cemetery in Lynnville, IN. Friends may visit 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 18, 2019 and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
