Lois was employed by the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation for 15 years as a nurse at Harrison High School. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church and the Jr. League in Evansville. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and reading.
Lois is survived by her daughter, Julie Jacobs and husband, Edward; son, Commander Scott Troyer, USN and wife, Stephanie of Norfolk, VA; grandchildren, Sarah, Claire, and Jessica Jacobs and Delaney and Bradley Troyer; brothers, Charles Buck and wife, Betty of Longview, WA and Alfred Buck and wife, Betty of Evansville.
Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Christian Fellowship Church, 4100 Millersburg Road, officiated by Rev. Spencer Downs with burial at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Alexander North Chapel.
