Louis Oliver Logsdon

Louie graduated from F.J. Reitz High School in 1950. He served in Korea in the U.S. Army. He worked for Faultless Caster and retired as the payroll supervisor after 40 years of service.

He always had a love for the Lord and his family. He was his grandchildren’s biggest fan, always attending their baseball games and extracurricular activities.

Louie was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Agnes Logsdon; his wife of 20 years, Patricia Ann (Chapman);brothers, Virgis, Patrick, and Joseph Logsdon; sister, Norleen Hart.

He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey (Tina) of Lee’s Summit, MO; Greg of Evansville, and Joseph (Erica) of Evansville; step-daughter Karen (Bob)Palm of Henderson, KY; step-son Kevin Howard of Henderson, KY; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jeffrey Logsdon, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday, December 9, 2013, from 4-8pm and Tuesday, from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
