Steve was born on November 1, 1952 in Evansville to Carl and Maxine Neaveill.
Steve graduated from Central High School in 1971. He was a member of the Rivercity Eagles Aerie 4023.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Stella Longest, Deborah Pointer, and Cindy Mac Neaveill; and nephew, David Scott Nosko.
Steve is survived by sisters, Brenda Nosko (Ronald), Carla Manzi and Vicky Neaveill; brother, Gregory Scott Neaveill (Melinda); great-nephew, Nathan who cared for him in the nursing home; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois St., Evansville, IN, officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin. Burial will be in Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends and family may visit from 12 noon until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
