Loye's primary vocation was a tavern owner, and he also operated a car lot, and was a short-haul semi-truck driver. Loye enjoyed NASCAR, football, and going to the horse races. He dearly loved all of his dogs.
Loye was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Beulah Parrish; daughter, Jeana Pain; brother, Elva; sister, Peggy; and several nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his daughter, Julie Stewart (Dave); and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery mausoleum chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive in Evansville, with burial to follow.
Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the cemetery chapel.
