Lucille (Hall) LeGate, 95, of Evansville, IN passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 9, 2024. She was born in Breckenridge County, KY on December 10, 1928 to the late Plummer and Zella Hall.
Lucille enjoyed painting, cooking, and spending time with family. She was known for practicing unconditional love.
Lucille was preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Poole; brother, Jack Hall; sisters, Bernice Robards, Inez Smith, and Judy Jerger; grandchildren, Wayne Gish, David Gish, and Mimi LeGate.
She is survived by sons, Chuck LeGate, Bob LeGate (Robin) and Tom LeGate; daughter, Lisa Daniels (Jerry); sister, Zella Howell (Don); grandchildren, Mike Gish (Ruby), Danny Pollard, Jackson LeGate (Sarah), Eli LeGate (Jesse Belle), Jill Byington, Jesse Daniels (Gena), Troy Daniels (Kristy), Tara Dutschke (Kenny), Neil Gish; great-grandchildren, Porter Daniels, Lemon Daniels, Lyla Byington, Levy Byington, Toby Gish, Alayna Daniels, Ethan LeGate, Max LeGate, Amanda Daniels; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lucille’s name may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 610 E. Walnut St., Evansville IN, 47713.
A funeral service will be held at Noon on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery - Heritage Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, Evansville IN, officiated by Chaplain Jerry Daniels. Burial will follow. Friends and family may visit on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the cemetery chapel.
