Lu was a long time member of St. Matthews UCC where she was active in the Weekday Christian Education Program. She graduated in 1938 from Central High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Clyde “Johnny” Miller. He passed away in 1991.
Lu is survived by her nephew, Randall R. Hoffman; sister-in-law, Wanda L. Hoffman; three nephews and one niece.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
