

Madeline Wilson, 88, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born November 29, 1925, in Baltimore, MD to the late Robert F. and Anna (Emberger) Loss.
She was a volunteer at the Evansville Christian Life Center and a member of Methodist Temple. She was active at SWIRCA, where she was a Kitchen Band member and participated in exercises and games. She was also a “Red Hat Lady” and a clabber player.
Madeline was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Martin L. Wilson, Sr.; her parents; and four grandsons.
She is survived by her children, Madeline “Cookie” Wilson of Vacaville, CA, Martin L. “Bud” Wilson, Jr. of Evansville, Norma Jean Wilson-Garza of Dallas, TX, Michaeline “Mickie” Wilson of Little Elm, TX, Michael “Ted” Wilson of Tampa, FL and James "Jim" N. Wilson of Evansville; 53 living grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 21, 2013, at Methodist Temple, officiated by Rev. Andy Payton, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Saturday from 12:00 PM until service time at the church.
The family would like to thank Tim M. for all of the love, help and support you gave to our Mom. She thought you were a gift from God and so do we.
