Mamie (Duerson) Dulin, 99, of Evansville, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at Columbia Healthcare Center, Evansville, Indiana. She was born January 5, 1922 in Earlington, Kentucky to the late Minor and Mayme (Jessup) Duerson.
Mamie enjoyed reading her Bible and was a prayer warrior.
She and late husband, Deacon Frank Dulin, were charter members of Arena of Faith Church and Mamie was also a familiar presence at various other area churches.
Mamie retired from Housekeeping and Maintenance at the University of Southern Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Wayne Cooley and daughter, Dorothy Yancy.
Mamie is survived by her sister and care manager, Helen Duerson; granddaughter, LaDonna Richardson; grandson, Stephen Sean Yancy; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A brief service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 26, 2021 at Alexander East Chapel. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Sunset Memorial Park following a brief celebration of Mamie’s life. Masks and distancing will be required.
