Margaret Elizabeth Hopper

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin Hopper; brother, William “Bill” Meisler; three sisters, Louise Eberhard, Fern Doerr and Ethel Lehnhard.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Tammy Tarnow (Dale); son, Steve Hopper (Lauri); grandchildren, Jason Barrett (Sarah) of Beth Page, TN, Megan Hamilton (Julian) and Ben Hopper; both of Wichita, KS; two step-grandchildren, Nichole Carpenter (Matt) of Seattle, WA and Jennifer Ward (Scot) of Athens, IL, Evelyn, Emerson, and Isla Barrett of Beth Page, TN and Greyson Ediger and Emilia Hamilton of Wichita, KS.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois, Evansville, IN, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
