

During the War Eileen worked at Sunbeam. She then worked at DeJong’s. She was a long-time member of St Paul’s U.C.C. Eileen belonged to the VFW #1114 Ladies Auxiliary where she served as President. She was also President of the Centennial PTA. During their working years, Eileen and Alvin enjoyed their Wabash river camp. After she and Alvin retired, they spent winters in Florida where they enjoyed traveling, and led a kitchen band.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lulu Orth; husband of 66 years, Alvin T. Moore; brothers, Alfred and Leroy Orth.
Margaret is survived by her son, Thomas A. Moore (Barbara); grandchildren, Julia Moore-Holtz (Brian), Patrick Moore; great grandchildren, Margaret Couch, Nicholas Couch.
Eileen’s family extends a special thank you to the staff of Good Samaritan Home.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel officiated by grandson-in-law, Brian Holtz with burial to follow in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 9:30 a.m. until service time at the cemetery chapel.
