Margaret was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Evansville. She had been President of the PTA at Centennial School.
Margaret was the devoted Matriarch of her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Edward W. Shelton.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Connie Poe (Tom) of Huntingburg; son, James Shelton (Linda) of Coral Springs, FL; grandchildren, Joy Cassitty (Jeff), Allan Poe, Sara Peyton (Matt), Cathy and Christy Shelton, and six great grandchildren.
Private services will be held.
